Erica Miller, MSP, APRN, FMP

I’m a proud East Tennessee native, married with four amazing children ranging from 15 months to 15 years old. Growing up, I watched my mom fight breast cancer and eventually lose her battle when I was just 13. That experience ignited my passion for becoming a nurse and wanting to help others. I’ve always known I wanted to be a nurse, so I started early by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in high school. After graduating as a Licenced Practical Nurse from Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Elizabethton in 2016, I spent six years working as a School Nurse at Towne Acres Elementary School and as needed at The Blake Assisted Living in Kingsport, TN. These opportunities gave me hands-on experience and a deep love for patient care.

I decided to expand my career as a nurse and graduated from the LPN to BSN, RN program at East Tennessee State University in May 2023. I am currently finishing up the Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner program at King University, where I’m set to graduate in May 2025. I hope to use my experience and passion to become a great provider not just to my patients but to my healthcare team as well. My faith and family keep me grounded and motivated, and I’m driven to make a difference in healthcare, one patient at a time.
